Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Nuravi, including the Nuravi website, web dashboard, iOS and Android apps, and the AI companion delivered over iMessage and SMS (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Deina Labs Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Deina Labs", "Nuravi", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, sending us a message, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Nuravi is

Nuravi is an AI companion for women managing hormonal chronic conditions, with an initial focus on Polycystic Metabolic / Ovarian Syndrome ("PMOS", formerly referred to as PCOS). You interact with Nuravi primarily through iMessage and SMS. The web dashboard and mobile apps show visualizations of the data you have logged.

Nuravi is an educational and personal-tracking tool. It is not a medical device, a clinician, or a substitute for professional medical care. Nuravi does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The AI's responses, suggestions, summaries, "next-step" recommendations, supplement or protocol observations, and specialist referrals are informational only and are not medical advice.

2. Not medical advice. Not for emergencies.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any diet, supplement, medication, exercise, or treatment, including anything Nuravi discusses with you.

If you are or may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) or go to the nearest emergency room. Nuravi is not monitored in real time and cannot help in an emergency.

If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or are in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the U.S.) or your local crisis service. Nuravi is not a crisis service.

3. Special conditions

You should not rely on Nuravi, and should speak with your clinician before continuing use, if you:

  • are pregnant, attempting to become pregnant, or breastfeeding;
  • have a current or prior eating disorder, or are in recovery from one;
  • have type 1 diabetes, advanced kidney disease, or another condition that requires medically supervised nutrition;
  • have a history of, or are currently being treated for, a serious mental-health condition;
  • are under the care of a physician for any condition that food, supplements, or activity changes could materially affect.

Nuravi is general wellness information, not personalized clinical care, and is not appropriate as a primary tool for managing any of the conditions above.

4. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Nuravi, you represent that you are 18 or older.

To use the Service, you provide your first name and mobile phone number. We send you a one-time verification code by iMessage or SMS. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number secure and for all activity that occurs through your account. If you lose access to your phone number, contact us so we can help recover or close your account.

You may delete your account, and all data associated with it, at any time from your account settings. Deletion is permanent.

5. Pricing

During the V1 cohort, the Service is provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans (including a free tier and a paid "Plus" tier) in the future. If we do, we will give you advance notice and you will be able to choose whether to subscribe or to stop using the Service. We will never start charging you without your explicit consent.

6. Messaging fees

Nuravi communicates with you over iMessage and SMS. Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. Message frequency varies and depends on your interactions. To stop messages at any time, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP or email team@nuravi.co. Stopping messages will limit or end your ability to use the Service.

7. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the information you share with Nuravi, including the messages you send, photos you upload, cycle and symptom logs, food entries, body measurements, supplement and protocol notes, and any lab information you choose to provide ("Your Content").

You grant Deina Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content, and to create derived data (for example, cycle averages, food-symptom links, weekly summaries) solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you.

We do not sell Your Content. We do not share identifiable health data with advertisers. We do not use Your Content to train third-party foundation models. See our Privacy Policy for details on how Your Content is handled, including the third-party processors that help us deliver the Service.

8. AI limitations

Nuravi's responses are generated by large language models. They can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. They can confidently state things that are not true ("hallucinations"). You are responsible for verifying anything important with a qualified clinician before acting on it. Do not treat Nuravi's output as medical advice, a prescription, or a substitute for professional judgment.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anyone other than yourself, or impersonate another person;
  • use the Service if you are under 18;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our system prompts, models, or training data;
  • attempt to jailbreak, prompt-inject, or otherwise manipulate the AI to bypass safety guidelines;
  • use the Service to harm yourself or others, to harass anyone, or to violate any law;
  • upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share (including another person's protected health information);
  • interfere with the operation of the Service, including by sending automated traffic, abusing rate limits, or attempting to access another user's account or data.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are putting yourself, other users, or the Service at risk.

10. Third-party services

To deliver the Service we rely on third-party providers, including (today) Anthropic for AI processing, Sendblue for iMessage and SMS delivery, and Supabase for hosting and storage. Your use of those providers' infrastructure is governed by our agreements with them; the data those providers receive is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for your use of third-party services we link to (for example, ZocDoc for specialist search).

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE OUTPUT OF THE AI WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR SITUATION.

NOTHING IN THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES MEDICAL ADVICE, AND NOTHING IN THESE TERMS CREATES A DOCTOR-PATIENT, THERAPIST-CLIENT, OR PROFESSIONAL CARE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU AND DEINA LABS OR ANYONE OPERATING THE SERVICE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEINA LABS, ITS AFFILIATES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deina Labs, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, (b) Your Content, or (c) your violation of any third party's rights.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will let you know by message, email, or in-product notice, and we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and Deina Labs agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims court.

You and Deina Labs agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting team@nuravi.co. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 60 days, either party may bring a claim in a court of competent jurisdiction in Delaware, or in small-claims court where eligible.
